Munda, a representative of England at under-18 level, made his Premier League 2 debut during an away clash against Blackburn Rovers in January before scoring on his second start at under-21 level, an impressive stoppage-time leveller against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The central midfielder featured for Eddie Howe's side as a second-half substitute against Hull, making his senior bow in the process, before featuring in the latter stages of the Magpies' Sela Cup victory against Stade Brestois at St. James' Park.
