Newcastle United Under-18s were held to a 1-1 draw against their Everton counterparts in the Under-18 Premier League North on Saturday.
The Toon Teenagers, competing in their final league game on home soil in the 2022/23 campaign, led inside 11 minutes following Anthony Munda’s strike at the Magpies’ Little Benton Academy.
However, the Toffees equalised four minutes after the restart as Jacob Beaumont-Clark’s penalty levelled for the visitors after the Everton winger was bundled over inside the penalty area.
Graeme Carrick’s side complete their league campaign by facing successive away trips to Liverpool and Nottingham Forest respectively.
