New signing Vurnon Anita is back in the Holland squad, just a fortnight after sealing his switch to Tyneside from Ajax.
The 23-year-old midfielder, who has featured in all three of United's games this season to date, has been provisionally named in a Netherlands party for their World Cup qualifying double header against Turkey (Friday, 7th September) and Hungary (Tuesday, 11th September).
Anita, who has three senior caps to his name, last appeared for the Oranje two years ago, just before failing to make the final cut for their 2010 World Cup squad, and is joined in this current group by Magpies goalkeeper Tim Krul.
Yohan Cabaye also returns to the international fold, having not been involved in France's friendly fixture against Uruguay earlier this month. The 26-year-old starred for Les Bleus at Euro 2012 and will be hoping to feature in their World Cup qualifiers against Finland (Friday, 7th September) and Belarus (Tuesday, 11th September).
Three off Newcastle's stars could be involved in the same international match on Saturday, 8th September, as Ivory Coast entertain Senegal in a play-off for a place in the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
Midfielder Cheick Tiote is in the Elephants' squad for the fixture in Abidjan, while in the Senegal ranks are strike duo Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse.
United skipper Fabricio Coloccini is part of the Argentina party which faces Paraguay (Friday, 7th September) and Peru (Tuesday, 11th September) for a place in the World Cup, while youngster Haris Vuckic has the chance to add to his one senior Slovenian cap when they take on Switzerland (Friday, 7th September) and Norway (Tuesday, 11th September) also in World Cup qualifiers.
