Steve McClaren expects Newcastle's Wales international defender to have recovered from a hamstring injury in time for Everton fixture

Steve McClaren is confident that Paul Dummett will be fit for Newcastle United's next Barclays Premier League fixture.
The Wales international defender missed Saturday's defeat at Watford with a hamstring injury sustained in the second half of the previous weekend's win over West Ham.
With fellow full-backs Massadio Haidara and Kevin Mbabu also sidelined along with Jack Colback - who could have been an option to fill in at left-back - McClaren was forced to reshuffle his pack at Vicarage Road.
Rolando Aarons operated as a left wing-back with Jamaal Lascelles coming in for his full top-flight debut at centre-back.
McClaren praised Aarons' display afterwards while Lascelles capped an impressive showing with a towering header in the second half, but United's head coach admitted that he would like to have a recognised left-back available when Newcastle travel to Goodison Park next week.
He told nufc.co.uk: "We've got Everton next in eight days.
"We expect Dummett to be back, maybe Jack Colback, and we'll see what else."
Highly-rated young right-back Jamie Sterry suffered a minor hip flexor strain last week, which is likely to keep him out for around a fortnight, but Steven Taylor returned to the squad at Vicarage Road having missed four months with a hamstring injury.
