The inaugural Newcastle United Fans Forum meeting took place on Monday night following its launch for the 2013/14 Barclays Premier League season.
Twelve supporters, each representing segments of the Club's diverse fan base, were selected at random from hundreds of applications and were joined at St. James' Park by three supporters groups - the Newcastle United Disabled Supporters Association, the Newcastle United Supporters Trust and NUFC Fans United.
The Forum members met with the Club's management team to discuss areas which affect Magpies supporters, with full meeting minutes to be published here on Tuesday.
The Club was represented by board members John Irving and Lee Charnley, PR and supporter liaison manager Lee Marshall and heads of department from safety and security, ticketing, media and the club's Foundation, as well as representatives from club sponsors, Wonga.com.
The Fans Forum meeting was observed by the Football Supporters Federation, an independent organisation which assisted in the Club throughout its development.
