Massadio Haidara will make his first appearance since the end of last season when Newcastle United's under-21s take on Fulham on Friday (kick-off 7pm).
French left-back Haidara has been sidelined through injury, missing the whole of pre-season and the opening games of the campaign and Craven Cottage is the venue as Willie Donachie and Peter Beardsley's side look to extend their unbeaten run to four games, with Gael Bigirimana, Haris Vuckic and Adam Campbell also included.
But while they provide Barclays Premier League experience, three players - defenders Lewis Aird and James Morgan and goalkeeper Brendan Pearson - could make their second-string bows in West London.
Midfielder Olivier Kemen, fresh from captaining France's under-18 side last week, is set to make his first under-21 appearance since the first match of the season at Reading, when he suffered an ankle injury.
With the under-18s in action against Manchester City on Saturday morning and the first team hosting Liverpool, only 15 players have made the trip. Admission is £3 or £1 concessions.
The squad is: Rolando Aarons, Lewis Aird, Jak Alnwick, Adam Armstrong, Gael Bigirimana, Adam Campbell, Macaulay Gillesphey, Massadio Haidara, Olivier Kemen, James Morgan, Brendan Pearson, Jonathyn Quinn, Callum Roberts, Remie Streete, Haris Vuckic.
