Freddie Woodman kept the first clean sheet of his senior career, as Crawley Town town played out a goalless draw with Portsmouth in League Two on Tuesday night.
The 18-year-old goalkeeper - an England Under-19 international - made a number of key saves to help the Red Devils shut out a promotion favourites Pompey, who dropped their first points of the season.
Woodman denied Matt Tubbs and Adam McGurk among others en route to the clean sheet, with the result giving Crawley their second point of the new campaign.
In League One, Adam Armstrong scored his fifth goal in just three appearances as Coventry City continued their 100 per cent record with a 3-2 home win over Crewe.
The forward, aged 18, bagged the Sky Blues' second goal of the evening at the Ricoh Arena, and played the full 90 minutes as Coventry snatched maximum points late on.
Elsewhere, Shane Ferguson made an impressive first start for Millwall but was unable to inspire them to victory against Barnsley.
The left-sided Northern Ireland international recorded an assist for one of Fred Onyedinma's two goals for the Lions. However, they conceded in stoppage time - around 50 seconds after Ferguson was replaced by Lee Martin - to lose 3-2 against the Tykes.
Finally, in the Championship, Sammy Ameobi was an unused substitute as Cardiff City recored a 1-1 draw away at Blackburn Rovers.
