Karl Darlow helped Nottingham Forest climb to the top of the Championship on Tuesday, as they maintained their unbeaten start to the new season.
The Reds were 2-1 winners away at Bournemouth, coming from behind to secure all three points thanks to goals from former Watford man Britt Assombalonga and Matty Fryatt.
And United loanee Darlow - who arrived on Tyneside earlier this month from Forest, before promptly being loaned back to them - was again a commanding presence in between the sticks.
The goalkeeper denied Adam Smith, Steve Cook, Yann Kermorgant and Matt Ritchie with impressive first-half stops to give Forest the foundation upon which their victory was ultimately built.
Teammate and fellow Magpie Jamaal Lascelles was not involved as he continues to recover from injury.
Elsewhere, Adam Campbell was an unused substitute as Fleetwood Town won 2-0 away at Scunthorpe United in League One action.
The Cod Army top the division with a 100 per cent record from their three games to date.
