The special poppy shirts worn by the players during the Remembrance Day home defeat to West Ham have raised almost £6,000 for the Royal British Legion.
All 11 Newcastle shirts, plus those of the substitutes, were auctioned off by the charity, which provides help and welfare to the serving and ex-Service community and their families.
And a fantastic total of £5,794.30 was raised once eBay and PayPal costs were taken out.
It was the third season in which United have worn their poppies with pride on a November matchday to remember those who have lost their lives while fighting for their countries and to raise funds for the charity.
