In pictures: Behind the scenes at supporter engagement event in Saudi Arabia

Eddie Howe, Jamaal Lascelles, Jacob Murphy and Sean Longstaff joined Amanda Staveley, Jamie Reuben, CEO Darren Eales, former fan favourite Shola Ameobi and first team coach Simon Weatherstone at a special fan engagement event in Riyadh on Wednesday.

Newcastle United are midway through a week-long visit to Saudi Arabia's capital city and around 90 supporters - some from the Middle East, others who had flown in from the UK - attended the event, which was held at the Hyatt Regency.

Expertly compered by Andrew Lisgo, the afternoon saw club representatives speak about the club's exciting future and reflect on the past, as well as taking the time to meet and pose for photographs with fans - and capturing the event for nufc.co.uk was club photographer Serena Taylor.
