It had been 502 days since Newcastle United won 1-0 at Southampton in the Premier League - the last time the Magpies played in front of an away following before Covid-19 restrictions came into force.
But on Friday night, the Toon Army were finally on the road again as 3,100 of them made the trip to Doncaster Rovers for a pre-season friendly.
They were treated to a thrilling game, with five goals in all, and a win for Steve Bruce's team... but as we all know, the 90 minutes on the pitch is only one part of an away day.
