In pictures: Newcastle United Women score six at St. James'

It was another record-breaking day for Newcastle United Women as they hit Bradford City Women for six at St. James' Park on Sunday.

Not only was it the team's biggest victory at the famous stadium, but the crowd of 24,092 was their highest ever league crowd - and the largest ever attendance in the FA Women's National League.

Beth Guy and Charlotte Potts both grabbed a brace each while Georgia Gibson continued her run of scoring in all three of the side's games at St. James' and Rachel Lee netted from the spot.

Among the magnificent crowd were Amanda Staveley and Mehrdad Ghodoussi, as well as Newcastle-born former Lionesses goalkeeper Carly Telford, who recently announced her retirement, while at half-time United's development squad showed off the FAWNL Reserve Plate trophy they won last month with a 3-0 victory over Portsmouth Women.

The future is bright but in the short term, United now have three more matches this season and know they must win them all to have a chance of securing the division's only promotion spot. Club photographer Serena Taylor brought nufc.co.uk this gallery.
