Newcastle United Women's semi-final win at St. James' Park in pictures

Newcastle United Women created another piece of history on Sunday as a crowd of over 22,000 watched them book their place in the FA Women's National League Cup final with a last-gasp win over Portsmouth at St. James' Park.

Georgia Gibson's last-minute winner at the Gallowgate End - her fourth goal in four games in front of the famous stand - sealed a dramatic victory for Becky Langley's side and sent them through to the showpiece final at Kenilworth Road, where they will take on Hashtag United.

Charlotte Potts' header had put the hosts in front in the second half on Tyneside but Emma Jones' leveller for Pompey had pegged them before Gibson's memorable intervention sent United through.

Serena Taylor, Harriet Massey and Colin Lock were there to bring nufc.co.uk this gallery from a spectacular afternoon for Langley's lasses - which features some brilliant behind-the-scenes images as the Magpies celebrated reaching their first  final since becoming a full time professional club.
