Dwight Gayle could return from injury when Newcastle United take on his former club Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The forward - who spent three years at Selhurst Park before joining the Magpies - was back in full training this week as he nears a return to action following the hamstring injury he suffered at Wolves last month.
Yoshinori Muto was also involved - he had returned to training at the end of last week - while Javier Manquillo also made a welcome return from a torn hamstring. He hasn't played since New Year's Day.
