Toon in training: Newcastle United Women get set for St. James' return

Newcastle United Women are back at St. James' Park on Sunday as they go in search of victory over Bradford City to keep their promotion hopes alive.

Becky Langley's side drew 1-1 at Hull last weekend and currently sit just six points behind FA Women's National League Division One North leaders Durham Cestria - though United have two games in hand.

It is set to be a grandstand finish to the campaign for the Magpies as they look to snatch promotion away from their local rivals, and Sunday's visit of the Bantams is set to be another memorable occasion for Langley and her team as they return to St. James' Park (kick-off 2pm BST).

Another bumper crowd is expected on Tyneside, with the match of great importance to the visitors, too, as they look for a win which could lift them out of the relegation zone.

The Magpies trained at the club's Academy on Tuesday after Langley and some of her players - including Charlotte Potts, Anna Soulsby and Beth Guy - spoke to the media to preview this weekend's big game (tickets are available here).

Club photographer Serena Taylor was there to bring nufc.co.uk this gallery.
