Toon in training: Working towards Wolves

Karl Darlow is rated as "50-50" by head coach Steve Bruce for the weekend's game at Wolves, with the goalkeeper able to join in with part of Friday's training session but still suffering from the after-effects of the injury he suffered against Manchester United.

Mark Gillespie is on standby to make his Premier League debut at Molineux (although his Carabao Cup appearances this season mean the 28-year-old has played in three of United's eight games so far this term) should Darlow fail to recover in time.

Bruce is also sweating on the fitness of Isaac Hayden, who limped off against the Red Devils, but the midfielder did train on Friday - as did teenager Elliot Anderson, who was an unused substitute in last month's cup tie at Newport County and recently returned from international duty with Scotland's under-19s.

Ciaran Clark and Paul Dummett, who came through their respective returns from injury unscathed when United's under-23s beat their Fulham counterparts in midweek, were both involved in Friday's training session too, and Serena Taylor brought nufc.co.uk this gallery.
