Wat a tie: Cup clash in pictures as young Magpies sting Hornets

An Elliot Anderson free-kick in the last minute of extra time saw Newcastle United reach the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup after a pulsating fifth round tie with Watford at St. James' Park.

The young Magpies went ahead twice, firstly through Lucas De Bolle and then Dylan Stephenson, but on both occasions the Hornets fought back.

But just as the game looked to be heading for penalties, up stepped captain Anderson with an inch-perfect dead ball strike at the Gallowgate End.

Neil Winskill's charges will be back on Tyneside in the last eight, to face either Aston Villa or Burton Albion. Serena Taylor brought nufc.co.uk this gallery.
