European Rugby finals nominated for award
The European Rugby finals held at St. James’ Park in summer 2019 have been nominated for Living North magazine’s Performance of the Year Award.
Voting is now open in the category, with the European Finals up against ten other regional events.
A combined attendance of 80,368 people were in attendance for the Heineken Champions Cup and European Challenge Cup finals on 10-11 May, which delivered a £24.6m boost to the region’s economy.
