Family activities on Strawberry Place ahead of Saint-Étienne friendly

Ahead of Saturday's final pre-season friendly of the summer against Saint-Étienne, Newcastle United will once again host a number of fun family activities outside St. James' Park.

Between 10am and 3pm, Strawberry Place will welcome a PUMA truck, with a boot shop and the chance to play FIFA 19, face painters, a giant slide and a bouncy castle.

There will also be a rodeo bull, human table football, an assault course and a penalty shoot-out game, as well as the opportunity to meet Monty and Maggie the Magpies and learn more about the Newcastle United Foundation's Be A Game Changer campaign.

Families are welcome and a ticket for the match is not required to join in the fun - but with match day ticket prices starting from £10 for adults and £5 concessions when bought in advance, it's a great chance for fans of all ages to enjoy a day to remember.

The showpiece clash against Les Verts, who finished fourth in France's top flight last term, kicks off at 3pm (BST) on Saturday, 3rd August and will be United's only home friendly. Tickets are available to buy here.

Please note that Strawberry Place will be closed to traffic throughout the day and will reopen after the match crowd has left the stadium and surrounding areas.
