Stuart Attwell will be the referee for Newcastle United's Carabao Cup semi-final first leg away at Southampton on Tuesday night.

Eddie Howe's side travel to the South coast ahead of the Magpies' first cup semi-final tie since 2005 and this will be the second time Attwell has officiated a game involving Newcastle this term.
The Warwickshire official was the man in the middle for United's 4-1 victory at Southampton in November but booked zero Newcastle players in the Premier League clash at St Mary's.
The 40-year-old became the youngest referee to take charge of an English top-flight fixture following his debut in 2008 and was demoted from the Select Group in 2012 before returning to the list four years later.
