Northumberland Senior Cup quarter-final rearranged

Newcastle United Under-21s' Northumberland Senior Cup quarter-final tie at home to Bedlington Terriers has been rearranged.

United's second-string were due to face the Northern League Division Two outfit at Whitley Park on Tuesday, 13th February but the match was postponed following a power failure in the area.

The last-eight encounter will now take place on Tuesday, 12th March. Kick-off is set at 7.30pm (GMT), with the venue remaining the same.

The winner of the tie will face an away trip to Ashington in the semi-final stages, with the young Magpies bidding to lift the trophy for the first time since 2018.
