Port Vale EFL Trophy tickets on sale now

Tickets for Newcastle United's EFL Trophy clash with Port Vale are on sale now.

United's youngsters travel to Vale Park for their second Group B game of the competition on Tuesday, 10th October (kick-off 19:45 BST) and Newcastle supporters can purchase tickets from Port Vale in advance or scan a matchday QR code.

The Magpies have been allocated 200 tickets and prices are:

Adults (22 to 61): £10
Seniors (62+): £5
Under-18s: £5
Carers: Free

Tickets can be bought from Port Vale here or by scanning the matchday QR codes outside of the Bycars Stand at the ground on the night subject to availability.

To book online, Newcastle supporters should ensure the webpage is set to 'away supporter' and create an account in their name. There will not be a cash or card payments available and Vale Park is a cashless stadium, with the exception of 50/50 sellers and programme sellers, which can be purchased at the away kiosks.

Port Vale will operate a collection point for Newcastle supporters outside the away stand which will be for pre-paid collections only.

Ambulant disabled supporters or individuals with hidden disabilities in receipt of Personal Independent Payments (PIP) may have a companion with them free of charge. There are no accessible facilities within the away stand (The Bycars Stand), but Port Vale do have a dedicated stand for supporters with disabilities - The Leek Building Society Stand - which is a mixed supporter area, and is situated to the left of the away stand.

This is suitable for ambulant disabled who require adapted facilities and all wheelchair users, which can be booked directly with the home club by calling 01782 655821 or emailing [email protected].

Matchday parking can be pre-booked online here. Port Vale recommend that away supporters use the Dimensions Leisure Centre car park, which is only a short walk from the away stand.

Port Vale's safety and security team, including turnstile operators, have the right to refuse a supporter entry into the ground if it is thought that they are attempting to use an incorrect ticket type to enter the ground.

The Magpies were narrowly beaten by Wrexham in their opening EFL Trophy group game last month. Defender Lewis Cass, who was on the bench for Newcastle in a Premier League game at Fulham in the Premier League on the final day of the 2018/19 season and for an Emirates FA Cup tie at Rochdale in January 2020, is part of the Port Vale squad.
