Premier League Cup final set for Wednesday night
Written by Dan King
Newcastle United's under-23s will face Everton at Goodison Park in the final of the Premier League Cup on Wednesday night.
Ben Dawson's side beat Leeds United last month to book their place in the final and Everton's 2-0 win over Swansea on Saturday means the game will take place at the Toffees' home ground on 8th May with a 7pm (BST) kick-off.
Everton are looking to complete a second-string double after being crowned Premier League 2 division one champions but the Magpies have had a superb season themselves and face Southampton later this month in the Premier League 2 division two play-off final.
A result must be achieved on the night, with extra time and penalties if required.
Admission is free. Unreserved seating is via gates 48/49 and 53/54, with no tickets required. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
