Premier League Cup last-16 date set

Written by Dan King

Newcastle's under-23s will take on their West Ham counterparts on Saturday in the last-16 of the Premier League Cup.

The game will be played at St. James' Park with a 1pm kick-off.

And that means the Hammers will come to Gallowgate twice in the space of a week; Peter Beardsley's side face the same opponents on Monday night (kick-off 7pm) in Premier League 2.

Admission for both games is free to season ticket holders and members, otherwise £3 for adults and £1 concessions.
