Team news: Livramento and Hall start against Blades

Tino Livramento will start for Newcastle United on Saturday when they take on Sheffield United in the Premier League (kick-off 3pm BST).

The former Southampton full back was an unused substitute in the Magpies' 2-0 defeat at Crystal Palace on Wednesday night but has been restored to the starting line-up by head coach Eddie Howe, with Lewis Hall also coming into the side at the expense of Emil Krafth and Harvey Barnes as Newcastle seek a swift response at St. James' Park.

Martin Dúbravka is in goal, with Livramento and Hall at right and left back and Fabian Schär partnering Dan Burn in central defence.

Bruno Guimarães will anchor the hosts' midfield once again, with Sean Longstaff and Elliot Anderson - who made his 50th appearance for United at Selhurst Park in midweek - either side of the Brazilian international.

Further forward, Jacob Murphy and Anthony Gordon will look to provide support for Alexander Isak, who is preferred to Callum Wilson - who returned to action against the Eagles after recovering from injury - up front.

Wilson, Krafth and Barnes are all named on the bench, along with Paul Dummett, Matt Ritchie and Loris Karius.

Youngsters Alex Murphy, Joe White and Ben Parkinson complete the list of substitutes hoping for gametime against the Blades, who are battling to avoid relegation from the top flight.

Newcastle United: Martin Dúbravka; Tino Livramento, Fabian Schär, Dan Burn, Lewis Hall; Sean Longstaff, Bruno Guimarães, Elliot Anderson; Jacob Murphy, Alexander Isak, Anthony Gordon.

Substitutes: Loris Karius, Emil Krafth, Paul Dummett, Alex Murphy, Matt Ritchie, Joe White, Harvey Barnes, Ben Parkinson, Callum Wilson.
