Watch Newcastle United Women v AFC Fylde Women live on NUFC TV on Sunday

Newcastle United Women are looking to extend their lead at the top of the FA Women's National League Northern Premier Division on Sunday, and their clash with AFC Fylde Women will be broadcast live on NUFC TV.

A late goal from Becky Ferguson saw United beat West Bromwich Albion Women in their last league game - a result which saw the Magpies leapfrog previous leaders Burnley Women. And Becky Langley's side followed that with a 5-0 victory against Stoke City Women in the Women's FA Cup to set up a mouthwatering fourth round tie against Manchester United Women.

However, successive promotions remain the main focus and on Sunday, they continue their title challenge against AFC Fylde Women at Kingston Park. A crowd of 4,172 turned out for last month's 5-0 win over Stourbridge Women, while United were watched by crowds of 28,565 and 24,092 at St. James' Park last season, as well as beating West Brom Women 3-0 in front of another sizeable attendance at the stadium as part of the Sela Cup in pre-season.

Kick-off this weekend is at 14:00 GMT and ticket prices are £5 for adults and £1 for children.

But supporters who can't make the match will be able to watch for free on NUFC TV, while the game will also be streamed live on Newcastle United's official YouTube channel.

Commentary will come from former Lioness Aran Embleton, a Newcastle fan from Cramlington who became one of the first women from the North East to represent England and played in the Women's FA Cup final for Doncaster Belles in 2000.

Top scorer Bridget Galloway, livewire winger Anna Soulsby and the exciting Kacie Elson will be among the players looking to catch the eye against their Lancastrian opponents.

Can Langley's lasses end 2023 on a high and maintain their unbeaten start to the season? Buy tickets here or watch live on NUFC TV or YouTube from 14:00 GMT on Sunday.
