Young Magpies' Premier League 2 clash at Boro postponed
Newcastle United Under-21s' Premier League 2 trip to Middlesbrough has been postponed.
The young Magpies were due to face their Boro counterparts at Heritage Park, home of Northern League Division One outfit Bishop Auckland, with kick-off set at 7pm (GMT).
However, the league encounter has been called off after falling victim to the poor weather conditions following heavy rainfall in County Durham overnight.
A new date for the Premier League 2 game will be confirmed on nufc.co.uk in due course.
