Defender Jodie Bartle signed for Newcastle United Women ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Jodie joined from Barclays Women's Championship side Coventry United Women, where she was captain in her second stint at the club last term.
The right-back re-signed for Coventry in the summer of 2022, having spent two-and-a-half-years with Scottish giants Celtic Women.
During her time in Glasgow, Bartle experienced UEFA Women's Champions League football and lifted both the Scottish Women's Football League Cup and the Women's Scottish Cup.
Before her first stint at Coventry, the defender worked her way up the leagues, captaining Peterborough Northern Star and playing for Loughborough Foxes.
Injuries have disrupted her first few months on Tyneside, but she has remained an important figure off the pitch even when unavailable, and has also been a hugely welcome addition to NUFC TV's live coverage of Newcastle United Women matches.
However she and United fans will hope to see her out of the commentary box and back on the pitch as soon as possible.
