Newcastle United Women's number nine is Katie Barker, a livewire striker who will be looking to finish as the team's top goalscorer this season.
The former England under-19 international - who has also represented and captained England Colleges - joined the Magpies in the summer of 2020 but her first campaign was cut short when the season was curtailed due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Barker made her WSL debut for Sunderland Women as a 16-year-old and, having been a regular goal-getter for the Magpies since joining the club, netted the clincher in a 2-0 win at Barnsley Women on the final day of the 2022/23 campaign as United sealed promotion from the FA Women's National League Division One North.
