Lucas De Bolle joined United's youth set-up in 2015 before signing his first professional contract for his boyhood club five years later.
Born in Scotland of Belgian parents, Lucas relocated to Newcastle at the age of 13 and played for Wallsend Boys Club before joining Newcastle's Academy.
The Newcastle School for Boys pupil caught the eye in the Magpies' FA Youth Cup campaign in 2020/21, registering a goal and assist against Watford in a 3-2 fifth round victory at St. James' Park.
The central midfielder made his under-23s bow in December 2019 at the age of 17 a Premier League 2 clash against Reading during the 2019/20 campaign and trained with Newcastle's first-team on numerous occasions last term and the early part of this, as well as being. named on the bench a handful of times.
After making his first team debut in pre-season, he joined Hamilton Academical on a season-long loan for 2022/23 - but not before signing a new two-year deal with the Magpies.
