Shaun made the move from North London to Tyneside in the summer of 2021 after joining the Magpies from Arsenal.
The Romford-born winger featured regularly for United's under-18 side last term, making 26 appearances for the Toon teenagers.
The 18-year-old, targeting a competitive debut for Newcastle's second-string, suffered a hip fracture last season which resulted in a three-month lay-off but is relishing the prospect of competing in this season's UEFA Youth League.
The rapid youngster told nufc.co.uk:"My main targets for the season are to play as many games as I can and help the team to do well in the UEFA Youth League."
