Newcastle United fan Stuart Taylor jetted off to Austria recently, thanks to the Club's official brewing partner, Molson Coors.
To celebrate recently extending their deal at St. James' Park to 12 years, Molson Coors decided to send one Magpies fan and a guest on a two-night trip to the Coors Light Ice Village.
Stuart was the lucky winner and enjoyed an action-packed couple of days in the snow. Here, he tells all about the trip in his own words:
'The day arrived and due to the reluctance of the wife to get cold, I managed to take a mate and fellow Geordie on this once-in-a-lifetime trip. We were already winners!
'Although we had received regular updates and itineraries, we still felt we were venturing into the unknown. But we certainly weren't disappointed as we were met at the airport by representatives from Coors and boarded a bus heading to the Coors Ice Village Kuhtai.
'Upon arrival we headed straight to the ice bar to enjoy some beer cocktails and a meet and greet. I don't think we could have been luckier with the weather, as there was not a cloud in the sky.
'From there we booked into our igloo, which was our home for the night, and changed into something more suitable.
'Any thoughts of an easy couple of days away were quickly forgotten as we began our snow shoe hike up the mountain to enjoy the views and a spot of lunch, along with some customary Coors!
'Now, as hard as it was coming up the mountain, it was the opposite coming down as we were handed a sled and told 'see you at the bottom'!
'This concluded the activities for the day and we headed back to the ice bar to start the party. Unless you are lucky enough to go, you can't comprehend the size or dynamics of the igloo - it was complete with bar, dancefloor and DJ booth so all the ingredients were in place for a great night.
'The party went into extra time and we eventually stumbled back to the igloo like a Chris Waddle dribble for a once-in-a-lifetime sleep in an igloo.
'The benefit of this was waking up fresh, which was a good thing as we were up early to build an igloo and train our own team of husky dogs. Both of these tasks were made easier due to the local instructors but still fascinating and a unique experience which will never be forgotten.
'We booked into the hotel Alpen Rose, which was our base for the second night, to provide some luxury and warmth to the trip and retired to the bar to discuss building tactics and husky war stories, washed down with Coors, before partying the night away.
'Despite repeated requests for Mark Knopfler, Dire Straits and Harry Palmer, they all fell on deaf ears.
'The following day we snow tubed, tobogganed and zipelbopped the Coors away before a bite to eat and the bus trip back to the airport to conclude an unbelievable few days away.
'On behalf of Jonny and I, I wish to thank Molson Coors and Newcastle United for an action-packed, fun, unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime few days away.'
