Brad Inman makes his Newcastle United return after injury as The Magpies' under-18s side take on Leeds United at Little Benton on Saturday (12 noon kick-off).
The Aussie-born Scotland under-21 midfielder is included in Joe Joyce's squad as United look to bounce back from their 3-1 defeat to Sunderland two weeks ago.
The young guns did beat Huddersfield 5-1 in a friendly game last week, and also beat Derby 2-1 in their last home league game, and Inman's comeback is sure to boost the Academy side.
He had been in impressive form for the Reserves in the early past of the campaign before suffering an injury in training in September which left him on crutches.
Inman scored against Leeds last season in a 4-1 win for Newcastle, along with Sammy Ameobi and Ryan McGorrigan, who is also involved this weekend. Another player returning from injury is powerfully-built midfielder Andy Mogwo.
The full squad is: Jak Alnwick, Ben Robinson, Alex Nicholson, Lee Toland, Jeff Henderson, Stevie Folan, Ben Sayer, Dennis Knight, Liam Henderson, Brad Inman, Dan Taylor, Ryan McGorrigan, Remie Streete, Marcus Maddison, Michael Riley, Andy Mogwo.
