Newcastle fans will get a chance to pay tribute to Robbie Elliott and Phil Gray on the final leg of their mammoth cycle ride in honour of Sir Bobby Robson this weekend.
The former United left-back and Gray, a triathlete, set off on a 3,500 trek from Lisbon last month and have visited Sir Bobby's former clubs including Porto, Barcelona, Ipswich and Fulham along the route.
But all roads lead to Tyneside and Magpies supporters can cheer them on - and even join them - as they embark upon the last few miles to raise money for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
On Saturday, the duo will be setting off from Ponteland High School at 10am and for a £20 entry fee, which goes to the charities, supporters and cyclists can ride the route with them. It follows the first training ride that Robbie and Phil cycled together after deciding to undertake the challenge.
Then on Sunday, they will conclude the ride by cycling into Newcastle and finishing at St. James' Park. The route will take them across the Tyne Bridge, up Grey Street, through Old Eldon Square, past Sir Bobby's Garden at Gallowgate and finishing at the stadium.
They cross the Tyne Bridge at 1.15pm and fans can turn out to cheer them on and make donations as they pass.
