Burt "buzzing" after Young Lionesses call-up

Daisy Burt says she was "absolutely buzzing" after being called up by England's Lionesses at under-18 level for the first time.
The 17-year-old full-back has already represented her country at under-17 age group and was selected for two under-18 training camps last year, and is now part of the squad to take on Republic of Ireland at St. George's Park later this month.
Burt - whose dad, David, and uncle, Jamie, were both on Newcastle's books as youngsters - has been outstanding for Becky Langley's Magpies this season and was given the news of her selection by mother Lianne following an email from the Football Association.
"When my mam told me, I was absolutely buzzing," she told UNITED, the Magpies' official matchday programme. "I was really, really happy and it feels like this season's hard working is paying off.
"I was hoping that England would be checking in that I'd been playing every game, and they'd seen the results - that we're doing well in the league and have kept quite a few clean sheets. I'm just trying to keep performing so I can keep my place in the team.
"We've brought in a couple of new players and they've fitted in so well. We've brought in the right people and players and we've got the hunger - not that we didn't at the start of the season, but with the end goal nearing sight, we can really push on and hopefully get the league at the end of the season."
While promotion from FA Women's National League Division One North in the aim this season, longer term, Burt hopes to keep on catching the eye an international level, having attended her first Lionesses talent ID camp at the age of 14.
A huge admirer of fellow full-back Lucy Bronze, who grew up in Northumberland and has now won 100 caps for England's women, pulling on the Three Lions is a special feeling for North Shields-born Burt.
"I would love to keep going to regular camps and keep my name in the system for as long as possible, and try to keep performing for my club so I've got the best chance of being noticed by England," she said.
"I've just got to let that do the talking and hopefully the rest comes with it.
"Playing for England is unbelievable - a feeling you can never describe. It makes me so, so proud. You're representing your country, which is what you dream of as a kid. It's just something you can never take for granted."
Newcastle United Women entertain York City Ladies at Kingston Park on Sunday, 12th February. Kick-off is at 2pm and tickets, priced at £3 for adults and £1 for juniors and concessions, are available to purchase here.
