Callum Wilson and Jacob Murphy have been shortlisted for the Premier League's Budweiser Goal of the Month award for April

The Newcastle United duo are both nominated for strikes in the Magpies' 4-1 win at Everton last Thursday, which was Eddie Howe's side's fifth win of the month.

Centre forward Wilson, who netted twice against the Toffees, is on the list thanks to his second effort of the night - a magnificent curling shot into the top right-hand corner as United turned on the style at Goodison Park.

That goal came before Murphy wrapped up the scoring from close range and that goal is also on the shortlist, though it owed much to Alexander Isak's stunning assist, with the Swedish frontman bamboozling Everton's backline with a mazy dribble down the left before squaring for Murphy to fire home.

Also nominated for April's award are Bournemouth's Marcus Tavernier, Everton's Michael Keane, Son Heung-min of Tottenham Hotspur and Matheus Nunes of Wolves.

Manchester City's Erling Haaland and Brighton's Julio Enciso complete the shortlist.

Magpies supporters can vote for Wilson and Murphy by clicking here. The winner will be announced on Friday, 12th May.
