Young Magpies' Premier League Cup clash rearranged
Newcastle United Under-21s' Premier League Cup clash away at Fleetwood Town has been rearranged.
United's second-string were due to face their Cod Army counterparts at Highbury Stadium on Wednesday, 31st January but their penultimate Group F fixture was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
However, the cup clash will now take place on Friday, 2nd February and will be staged at the EcoGiants Stadium, home of Northern Premier League Division One West side Clitheroe F.C., with kick-off set at 7pm (GMT).
United's second-string, who reached the Premier League Cup final in 2019, currently occupy fourth spot in their respective group after recording two points from their opening four fixtures, holding Fleetwood to a 2-2 draw at Whitley Park in October.
