A message from David Hopkinson
"I want to express my thanks to our supporters for their remarkable commitment. Our fans are the beating heart of Newcastle United and everything we are striving to achieve is only possible together.
"It is in that spirit of partnership and with deep respect for our fans that I want to be completely open about the decision to raise ticket prices. We fully understand this will not be popular news, and it is not a decision we take lightly. But the reality is that without making responsible increases, we cannot continue progressing or competing at the level we all expect and aspire to.
"In the current financial landscape, we must balance affordability for our fans with the need to generate the revenue required to remain competitive. After this adjustment, our general admission ticket prices will remain competitive in terms of value against other Premier League clubs, and we will also be offering the second-lowest price for a standard adult season ticket in the league.
"I also want to be clear about how we spend our revenue. The ultimate aim is to reinvest it directly into the areas that matter most: building a successful team, enhancing your matchday experience, and strengthening the infrastructure that supports long‑term success.
"At the same time, we're working hard behind the scenes to secure new commercial opportunities and operate more efficiently so we don't place unnecessary pressure on supporters.
"None of this works without you. Your passion, your unity and your unwavering backing are what move this club forward. We remain absolutely committed to building something special together - sustainably, responsibly, and with supporters at the heart of every decision we make.
"Thank you for everything you continue to give to power our progress."
Investing in your matchday
This season, we're investing in new, higher‑visibility screens in the stadium bowl to improve score/time and VAR communication.
We're also investing an additional £1m in audio systems, kiosk upgrades and seating to enhance the overall experience.
We'll share visuals and timelines as installations progress.
Accessibility and disabled supporters
We remain committed to making matchdays inclusive and accessible.
Currently, we are one of a small number of Premier League clubs that offers a ticket discount for supporters with disabilities, and we will continue to provide a free personal assistant ticket for those who are eligible.
From 2026/27, the disability discount changes from 50% to 25%. This update brings our pricing more in line with standardised ticketing and concession structures while helping us sustain wider accessibility services in the long term.
The Fan Advisory Board was consulted on this matter and, recognising the specialist nature of the topic, directed the club to seek the advice of Newcastle United Disabled Supporters Association (NUDSA).
Following consultation with NUDSA, we're also introducing dedicated matchday support for supporters with disabilities to assist with arrival, wayfinding and departure at St. James' Park.
If you'd like to discuss your circumstances or the new structure, please contact [email protected].
Family area
The current family area spans most of Level 7 across the Milburn Stand. However, as season ticket holders mature beyond the eligibility criteria, we need to reconfigure the seating to accommodate standard seating next to families who remain eligible.
We're in the process of making this change and will contact affected supporters in due course.
Families will continue to be welcome throughout the stadium, not just in one section.
Cup competitions, Magpie Mover and hospitality
Cup Scheme: details, including how to enrol, will follow soon.
Magpie Mover: information for 2026/27 will be shared in due course.
Seasonal hospitality: pricing and options will be communicated directly to clients.
FAQs... For full FAQs please visit the help centre. When will I receive my season ticket?
We will email you in July with full details on how to download your digital season ticket.
We will communicate full information - including answers to frequently asked questions - during this period and will advise supporters on how to download and best use their digital season ticket. Will there be any new season tickets available for the 2026/27 season?
Not yet. We're working with the Fan Advisory Board to finalise the criteria and process for our Season Ticket waiting list.
Once everything's agreed, we'll share the details with you. What happens if I can't attend a game?
If you can't attend a fixture, you can either transfer the ticket to someone within your linked friends and family on your ticketing account, or you can list the ticket for resale on our official website.
If the ticket is sold, you will receive the pro-rata price of your season ticket for that game back as a refund.
Please refer to your terms and conditions with regards to the maximum number of transfers permitted each season.
Can I change my seat?
Seat moves can only be requested at this present time for medical reasons.
Following feedback from the Fan Advisory Board, a seat move window will be made available at the end of the 2025/26 season should supporters wish to move seats for the 2026/27 season. Information regarding this will be communicated at a later date.
