A dominant first-half performance ensured that United just had to control and dictate the second 45 minutes, something they did perfectly.
A third league goal of the season for Kathleen McGovern put the Lasses ahead, before former Magpies Deanna Cooper turned the ball into her own net at the near post to double the lead.

A Nobbs cross from the left was deflected over everyone apart from McGovern, who found herself almost on the goal line but failed to make contact with the ball from a yard out.
