Head coach Eddie Howe has opted to make two changes to his side for the visit of Daniel Farke's men, with Jacob Murphy and Yoane Wissa named among the substitutes at St. James' Park.

Aside from the inclusion of Woltemade and Barnes - who come into the starting 11 after substitute appearances in the 2-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday - the spine of the United side is a familiar one, with Nick Pope in goal and Lewis Hall, Fabian Schär, Joelinton and Sandro Tonali all included.

Captain Bruno Guimarães starts too, as does Anthony Gordon, while the in-form Lewis Miley and Malick Thiaw also keep their places.

Full backs Kieran Trippier and Tino Livramento are on the bench alongside Sven Botman and Alex Murphy, while Joe Willock and Jacob Ramsey provide midfield backup.

Jacob Murphy, Wissa and goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale complete the list of substitutes available to Howe against a side who currently sit 16th in the table.
