Tony Harrington will referee Newcastle United's Premier League game against Hull City on Saturday (kick-off 3pm BST).

United welcome the Tigers to St. James' Park looking to secure a first home win in the league this term ahead of the extended international break.

And Harrington, born in Cleveland, has been tasked with keeping order in what will be his third top flight appointment of the campaign so far.

A Premier League referee since 2021, Harrington spent close to a decade on the EFL circuit after reaching the game's professional ranks in 2012.

The former PE teacher has overseen a total of seven games so far this term, in competitions including the Championship, League One and Carabao Cup.

He sent off Coventry City's Taiwo Awoniyi in the Sky Blues' 5-0 defeat to Brighton last weekend, while his last game involving the Magpies came in their 3-1 Carabao Cup semi-final second leg defeat at Manchester City back in February - a match which was also his final outing of the 2025/26 season.
