Newcastle United were victorious against Burnley on Saturday afternoon, with Eddie Howe, Yoane Wissa and Bruno Guimarães reacting to the 2-1 victory at St. James' Park.

Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe, speaking to BBC Match of the Day and Sky Sports:

On the match: "It was a bizarre ending because we looked like were home at 2-0.

"One goal can always change things and then the penalty happens. The extra man advantage then goes out of the window and you have to see that bit out."

On upcoming clashes with Bayer Leverkusen and Sunderland: "We've got a lot of massive games on the horizon. We now go back to the Champions League.

"There are big incentives for us to do well in this game. Sunderland on the horizon will be a massive game."

Newcastle United striker Yoane Wissa, speaking to BBC Match of the Day:

On making his debut: "It's been a long time. The last 11 weeks, I've learned about the team and the players. It's been a long road but I'm happy in the end. It gave my goosebumps [for his name to be read out when he came on]. I'm buzzing now. It can be an excellent season because we have so many quality players."

Newcastle United captain Bruno Guimaraes, speaking to BBC Match of the Day:

On his goal: "No, I've never scored a goal from a corner before. It's an unbelievable goal, one of the most beautiful goals of my career."
