Eddie Howe and his side touched down in the Austrian Alps on Monday and began their preparations for Saturday's pre-season friendly at Celtic.

Boosted by the return of international stars such as Alexander Isak, Dan Burn, Bruno Guimarães and Sandro Tonali, training took place with a picturesque backdrop as Howe readies his charges for a testing year ahead.

New signing Anthony Elanga was among those training as he awaits his Magpies bow, which could come at Celtic Park at the weekend. All seven Newcastle United pre-season fixtures - including that clash with the Scottish champions - will be available for supporters around the world (subject to broadcast rights) to watch live on the Official Newcastle United website and app. More information is available here.
