Rory Finneran

The 18-year-old midfielder, who made his senior Republic of Ireland debut during a 5-0 friendly win against Grenada earlier this month, has been named in the Boys in Greens' U21s squad ahead of two friendlies in June.

Finneran gained his first under-21s cap in a 2-2 draw against their Croatia counterparts on Saturday, playing the opening hour at Zagreb's Gradski Stadion.

Ireland's youngsters were held to a goalless draw against Qatar Under-23s on Tuesday afternoon but Finneran, who captained his country at last year's FIFA Under-17 World Cup finals, was not named in the squad for the friendly fixture at the Gradski Stadion.

Aaron Epia

The 18-year-old centre-back has been named in the Poland U18s squad ahead of a training camp this week.

Epia, who joined Newcastle's Academy from Everton in the summer of 2024, was born to a Polish mother and made his debut for his country at under-19 level during a European U19 Championship qualifier against Italy in March.

Born in Manchester, Epia signed his first professional contract with the Magpies last summer.
