Alexander Isak has been nominated for the Premier League's EA Sports Player of the Month award for March

The Newcastle United frontman scored three goals in just two starts, netting the opening goal in the win over Wolves with a fine header before following that up with a brace as the Magpies came from behind to beat Nottingham Forest six days ago to keep their top four challenge alive.

Isak, who is currently on international duty with Sweden, is up against Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard of Arsenal, Liverpool's Mohamed Salah, Brighton's Alexis Mac Allister and Aston Villa defender Tyrone Mings for the award.

The 23-year-old summer signing from Real Sociedad is looking to become the second Newcastle player to win the award this season, with team-mate Miguel Almirón taking home the trophy for October.

Supporters can vote for the award here. Voting closes at 12:00 (GMT) on Monday, 27th March, with the winner announced on Friday, 31st March.
