newcastleunited.com takes a look at how the Magpies' group of loanees are getting on, with a young midfielder continuing to impress in League One...

Rory Finneran

The 18-year-old Republic of Ireland international has enjoyed a promising start to his season on loan at Notts County, and netted his first senior goal on Saturday in their 2-1 home defeat to Oxford United.

Finneran's fine left-footed drive flew in with seconds remaining at Meadow Lane but, with Cameron Brannagan having netted the O's second of the afternoon just a couple of minutes earlier, it proved to be just a consolation.

The teenager picked up a booking in that loss too on what was still a landmark occasion for the former Blackburn Rovers youngster, who has played seven times since joining Martin Paterson's men.

Ousmane Diabaté

Diabaté has impressed on loan at Gençlerbirliği SK, and played his seventh game of the season in their 2-2 draw with Amed in the Turkish top flight.

The 19-year-old completed the full 90 minutes at the Eryaman Stadium.

Anthony Munda

The first loan spell of Munda's career has seen the 20-year-old head to League Two side Swindon Town, and he played 64 minutes on his ninth outing of the campaign as Ian Hollway's side were beaten 2-1 by Crewe Alexandra.

Sean Neave

Forward Neave, a Champions League debutant with United last term, came off the bench for Wolves with eight minutes remaining in their eventual 1-0 loss at Middlesbrough in the Championship.

The 19-year-old is yet to get off the mark at senior level, and has now played four times for the Molineux outfit.

Alex Murphy

The Republic of Ireland youth international came off the bench for the final half hour of Kaiserslautern's 0-0 draw with Heidenheim in the German second tier.

That was Murphy's fifth game of his loan spell, and he has one assist to his name so far.

Nick Woltemade

Woltemade came off the bench for Juventus with half an hour left at Cagliari, and helped the Italian giants rescue a point thanks to Randal Kolo Muani's late leveller.

It was the Germany international's fifth appearance for Juve, and he currently has one Europa League goal to his name.

Antonio Cordero

Having netted a brace against Leganes last time out, Cadiz winger Cordero played 86 minutes of his side's 1-0 defeat at Sporting Gijon - his ninth game of the season so far. He currently has three goals for the campaign.

Leo Shahar

Shahar is still waiting for his Arouca debut, and was an unused substitute in their 1-0 win over Estrela in the Portuguese top flight.

Harrison Ashby

Ashby wasn't in the squad for Luton Town's 4-1 win at Wycombe Wanderers in League One.
