Emmanuel Riviere was a 79th-minute substitute for Real Osasuna as they were beaten 3-0 by Celta Vigo while Lubo Satka made his debut for FC DAC in a 0-0 draw at Podbrezová. He has joined the Slovakian side on loan for the rest of the season.

Freddie Woodman and Sean Longstaff played the full 90 minutes for Kilmarnock in a televised 2-1 defeat to Aberdeen, while Callum Roberts was an unused substitute.

Alex Gilliead was a 78th-minute substitute for Bradford as they drew 2-2 with Bolton while Paul Woolston helped Blyth Spartans to another victory, this time a 2-1 success against Stourbridge.

Ivan Toney, Siem de Jong and Kevin Mbabu were unused substitutes for Scunthorpe, PSV Eindhoven and Young Boys respectively.
