Aleksandar Mitrovic's late goal gave Serbia a share of the spoils against Wales on Saturday.

Gareth Bale had given the home side a first-half lead in the World Cup qualifier in Cardiff, and Chris Coleman's men looked like holding on before Mitrovic's 85th-minute header.

The Newcastle striker was substituted three minutes later. His club colleague, Paul Dummett, was an unused substitute for Wales.

Meanwhile, Ciaran Clark played the full 90 minutes as the Republic of Ireland gained an excellent 1-0 win in Austria and Mohamed Diame came off at half time as Senegal lost 2-1 to South Africa in Polokwane.

On Sunday, Chancel Mbemba completed the whole game as DR Congo beat Guinea 2-1 but Christian Atsu was on the losing side as Ghana were defeated 2-0 by Egypt. The Newcastle winger played 90 minutes.

Matz Sels was an unused substitute as Belgium won 8-1 against Estonia.
