Newcastle United Women head back home to Gateshead Stadium this Sunday. Here's what you need to know...

Subway League Cup action continues as we welcome Super League giants Manchester City to Gateshead International Stadium.

Tickets

This game is busy with seats now only available in the East Stand, directly opposite the Tyne and Wear Stand. Please note that this stand is uncovered.

Tickets are available online via the Newcastle United Box Office.

Match tickets are priced £8.50 Adults, £3 Juniors and £3 Concession. You can purchase online here. A limited number of tickets will be available from the match day Box Office located at Gateshead International Stadium, open from 11am.

Travel and parking

We recommend using public transport to travel to the stadium. There is no match day parking available at this match, only pre-paid season parking passes.

The closest Metro station is Gateshead Stadium, a 15 minute walk and the 94 bus stops just outside on Neilson Road.

You can park and ride from Heworth Metro Station just two stops away. Discounted travel is available for Season Ticket Holders with the NUW Magpie Mover. Learn more here.

Fan parking at Gateshead International Stadium on match days is currently limited to pre-paid parking passes only in the Lower Car Park. If you have a Season Parking Pass, please make sure it’s downloaded and ready to show on arrival. The Lower Car Park is approx. 100m down Neilson Road from the main entrance.

Alternative parking is available at Quarryfield Road (NE8 3AE) which is a 20 minute walk from the stadium and costs £5.70 for up to 12 hours.

What to expect

When you arrive at the stadium, head to your gate/turnstile as this is where we will scan your digital ticket. If you have any issues, please head to the match day Box Office that is next to the reception door.

As well as top class WSL2 action on the pitch there is plenty going on off the pitch. Our matches are great for families with lots on offer.

Food and drink

Food serveries will be open along the concourse and outside next to the track there will be a coffee van, ice cream and food stand.

A reminder that as part of the Fan Choice, drinking in the bowl scheme fans can enjoy alcoholic drinks at their seats within the stadium bowl.

Merchandise

Our Newcastle United retail team have two locations where you can purchase merchandise. On the south end of the concourse and within the Mick Thornton Suite.

Wheelchair users can access the concourse and retail areas by using the lift down the corridor towards the Sports Hall - stewards will be able to provide directions.

Entertainment

Can you grab a selfie with our mascots Monty and Maggie? They will be walking around the entrance points and trackside fan zone before kick-off and joining in the fun at half-time. We also have complementary face painting available in the trackside fan zone, a creative zone in the Mick Thornton Suite and plenty of music, including a pitch side DJ for this game.

Programmes

You can purchase programmes at the North and South entrances to the Tyne & Wear Stand and at the retail stand in the Mick Thornton Suite. There will also be a small amount available at the main reception.
