Updates for 2025/26

Minimum Seat Usage – 2025/26 Season

To maximise matchday atmosphere at St. James Park we need to ensure that every seat is filled! We would like to remind supporters if they can’t attend games, they can forward their season ticket to a family member or friend. Ticket re-sale is also available.

To support seat usage and to ensure any empty seats can be filled the club has introduced a minimum usage requirement for Season Ticket Holders as part of the 2025/26 terms and conditions.

Season Ticket Holders are required to use their seat for at least 14 of the 19 home Premier League fixtures

A fixture will be counted as ‘used’ if:

  • You attend in person and successfully scan into the stadium

Alternatively, if you're unable to attend, you can still meet the usage requirement by:

  • Forwarding your ticket to a friend or family member, who must scan in and attend

  • Listing your ticket for resale via the official platform — this will count whether the ticket is sold or no

If you have any further queries, please contact [email protected]

Instructions on how to forward a ticket or list it for resale can be found below:

New Away Ticketing Process for 2025/26 Season

Following consultation with Season ticket holders, we will be introducing a revised process for selling away match tickets for the 2025/26 season.

The changes reflect feedback from over 8000 season ticket holders who shared a preference to streamline the purchasing experience. The club will now adopt the preferred approach to enhance clarity and speed across the away ticketing process. For more information, please click here.

Digital Ticketing Workshop

Digital ticketing has now been in place for two seasons at St. James’ Park, and we’re proud of the confidence and adaptability our supporters have shown during this time.

We understand, however, that some supporters may still appreciate a little extra support. That’s why we’re inviting you to a Digital Ticketing Workshop - a friendly, informal session available either online or in person - designed to help you feel more comfortable and confident using digital ticketing.

Whether you’ve got questions, need a refresher, or just want to build your confidence, we’re here to help. Areas we will review in the session are:

  • How to download tickets to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet

  • How to download and store tickets on Apple/Android devices

  • Using Apple/Google Wallet

  • How to scan at the turnstiles

  • What to do if your phone doesn’t work on matchday

  • How to transfer or resell tickets via the platform

There will also be an opportunity for you to ask questions via our sign-up form prior to the event and during the session itself.

Date & Time: Tuesday 5th August 6-7pm

Location: In person at St. James’ Park or online

What to Expect: Hands-on guidance, helpful tips, and one-on-one support

If you or someone you know would benefit from this session, we would love to see you there. Please let us know if you will be attending the session by completing the sign-up form here
